I thought I would put a tool list that you need to do any work on a scooter. Whether it be basic or full - custom builds.
For basic work (winterizing, tune ups, ect.)
8,10,12,15,19 mm sockets (¼ or 3/8” drive)
8,10,12mm open end wrenches
13/16”: spark plug socket
3/8 and or ¼” ratchet wrench
extensions
both types of sockets
Channel Locks
Needle nose pliers
Adjustable pliers
For mild performance work
everything above and:
impact wrench or big breaker bar (clutch)
clutch holder (bought or home made)
piston ring installers
dremel (porting and trimming)
for “hard core” performance
everything above and:
steering wheel puller (flywheel remover)
if you can think of anything else, post it or pm me and I’ll add it
