so my girlfriend wants to get me a tool chest or tool box for my tools so ideas would be great so i ask you to post your toolbox/chest/ what ever you store your tools in.

This is what I keep my metric tools in. 4 Drawer Ball Bearing Roller Cart  Picked it up at Harbor Freight for something like $100. Came with drawer liners. Works great! I would recommend it to everyone. i'll try to get more pics if I remember too. I also have the one box that they sell that is black (that feels like a rhino liner coating) with the silver handles. Works great also. |

that one is nice but kinda big for me i only have enough to fill half a portable tool box

I've got 2 full 3 tier roll aways full of tools. Not counting the two small tool chests and one tool tray for away jobs. This does not include the many specialized tools in and above the tool bench. Was a professional mechanic for years. The Harbor Freight suggestion is good. I bought my daughter a tool chest and then stocked it for her specific needs, she does minor home maintenance and rally dog shows and training, so she needs to fix the ramps, weave poles, etc.
