Just a note about my experience with replacing the carb on my Aero 125.
I have tried 2 "old" Klein carbs from other 125 to no avail. I finally decided to invest in the Mikuni VM20 to see if that would solve my starting and running problems.
The result is resounding YES. Carb was a bolt-on replacement. Needed to rig an airbox connection. Started on second try. Now have about 150 miles with no problems.
Next task is to rig a way to activate the manual choke. If I can't rig a cable to pull and push, then I am going to cut a nice hole in the plastic panel and do it that way.
If anybody has any suggestions on the choke access, please post them.
I got my carb from Beatrice Cycle (www.dratv.com).

I ordered the 2 parts recommended by Bear. The cable is ok, but the choke adapter will not fit. Threading for screwing onto carb is way to large. $8 wasted.
Need another solution.

I just saw one last night, but can't remember where. I'll keep looking.
