I found in my local Craigslist a 1984 Aero 125. It is complete. It starts but doesn't idle. You need to keep the throttle open to keep her running. The seller has installed a new stock carb he ordered from Taiwan. But it still didn't fix the issue. He is asking for $325. Is this a good buy? What do you think is the reason why it won't idle? Thanks for your input!

Sounds like he has no clue how to adjust a carb and a throttle cable. Also probably couldn't read the service manual if he figured out how to download it.
The price is fine and the fix is a simple adjustment. Slow idle is maladjusted carb and/or throttle cable and get the stock carb if you can, aftermarket carbs are always jetted wrong and will fry your motor. Now high idle is usually an air leak and a whole different ball game.
