Bought an Aero 125 a couple of weeks ago. Looks good for 30 plus years. Ran with some issues. Bogging on low and high rpms.
Found some very good help here.
I have taken it apart. New belt, new rollers (DR Pulley 16gms), new clutch weights. Now installing a used oil tank.
Have spent a lot of time cleaning the variator and clutch components. Scooter had wrong belt (way too long, not notched) which kept it from reaching higher speeds. Had some weird noises, that disappeared when I removed the belt and ran engine without belt.
Carb is now soaking in cleaner. Hopefully it will work after the cleaning. I think the bystarter is OK, but will get a new carb if it doesn't work when I get it all back together.
Now my question. Does anyone know of a replacement for the muffler. Mine is original and I don't believe it is in the best of shape. Would like to replace with something newer. Any suggestions.
I will post pictures when I get it back together.
Thanks.

Short answer is no, unless Honda still has them.

As I suspected. Hoping someone had found a current manufactured one that I could adapt. Guess I'll cross that bridge when the muffler fails.
New parts start arriving today! Hopefully get this scooter cleaned up and ready to roll early next week.

I am looking at the one on flea-bay. He sent me better pictures. Looks OK. May purchase. Taking off current muffler and checking condition first.
