I checked over the 125 yesterday and both brake cables are frozen, ordered those today. Either the petcock or the vacuum hose is bad as you can't draw a vacuum on the petcock. The left mirror is broken, already bought a pair on Flea-bay for cheap. The left rear turn signal housing is broken but will be easy to repair. The right front spoiler is missing and I ordered it today also. Of course the fuel system needs draining, flushed and the carb gone thru. Will drain and flush the oil system too. I even bought new fuel and vacuum lines for both the 125 and the one of the Aero 80s today. I borrowed the battery from one of the Aero 80s for the 125 and the start cranks when you cheat the brake light on. So shortly this thing should be running. I've made a contact with a guy in the UK (bought a manual for the 125 from him) and he is gonna look for a kick starter and the tachometer instrument cluster for me, which would be super cool.
While out and about today I stopped by a fellow scooter buff from the Spree.net forum and picked up an AF05E engine from a 1985 Aero 50 for my Spree. It's big improvement over the Spree AF05E engine is that the Aero version is variated and of course that's will make all the difference in performance for my little 1985 Spree.
