I did some research on this issue and several others have up jetted to a 95 jet (some have drilled their jet to a 96 size, but I don't like drilled jets, they don't flow properly) to solve this issue. I tried a 95 and it made things worse, 36 mph top speed. So then I tried a 92 and a 90 with no improvement of the stock jet of an 88. I have an 85 ordered to try because it appears to be too rich.

I have determined that the 3 petal reeds from an SA50 motor will fit the Aero 80. I have a set being shipped to me now and will be replacing the stock 2 petal reeds with the 3 petal reeds. It surely can't hurt and may well alleviate the WOT stumble problem these scooter are plagued with. This is just an interim measure, as I have a CT manifold coming also.
