So, i decided to rebuild instead of motor swap for my nh80. right now, ive got a guy at the cycle shop welding me a tool(custom made) to get those damn pressed drive faces off. i thought the harmonic balance puller would work, but it won't. so heres where i am.
interior fairings cleaned and sanded ready to paint 90% of metal bits de-rusted(kick starter & drive face need to be done) wiring harness cleaned and re-installed sanding wheels to prime for paint all spider webs and birds nests are gone!

so..i hit another road block(not literally). so, i had my buddy down at the cycle shop make me a tool to pull off the pressed on drive face from my nh80's. now the problem is...i cant get them pressed back on far enough. i read some threads about using heat+freezer to drop bearings in. is this my best bet for getting that damn thing back on, or is there another way i should be going about it?

i think that the heat+freezer is your best bet buddy.
